Happy Happy New Year!

So maybe Sunny Cat isn't thrilled with her new friends, but we're all sending best wishes for a very Happy New Year...and to eventually having all 4 kitties living together in peace!
Gracie wishes you all the best...and please rub her belly!

Fluffer will fall asleep while you give him rubs & scritches...
he might not be awake to see 2014 come in.

And Peanut is still not sure he wants to come out to play...
well until there's food or a favorite toy being offered.

So a very happy, healthy & prosperous New Year to all of you...from the Cat Gang & Phil & Debbie.  Let's hope 2014 is good to us all!

Wishing You & Yours a Very Merry Christmas!

No tree for us or for Sunny this year.  We were hoping the kittens would be out & about by now, but we're still keeping them in my studio because Sunny isn't sure she wants little friends quite yet.  It's all too much to deal with at this time of the year, so we're just taking it one day at a time.

Unfortunately we're frigid cold & have snow, but my brother & sister in law are coming over here to celebrate this evening...so I don't have to try to breathe in the cold air.  I'm just making lots & lots of good munchies to keep us going.

Merry Christmas to all of you!

December Green Holiday Swap

I'm actually quite late in posting this...but at least it got mailed out in time.  Each month I'm swapping a tag, a card & some destash goodies through A Swap for All Seasons.  We get a color & theme for each month & a partner to mail to.  A different partner mails to us.  It's great fun & if you want something cool in your mailbox instead of all bills, it's definitely a good swap.

For December the theme was the holidays & the color was green.  My mail-to partner was Lorraine of Over the Rainebeau.  Lorraine loves vintage so I figured this was the perfect time to use a vintage photo...of me on Santa's lap.  I look quite petrified & it looks like he's squeezing me to keep me still...and it's one of my all time favorite Christmas photos.  I had to add some red...but there's plenty of green on this tag.

Lorraine also loves all things Parisian...so here is the card I made her...
It really is shades of green with a bit of turquoise thrown in...but I was happy with it & she liked it.

The green destash included these...some hand dyed ribbons & tags...

And these from my vintage Christmas Seals collection...

I received wonderful artwork from Darlene at Blanche's Daughter.  With the kittens in my studio, I didn't take photos of what she sent my way before I started using it all!  However, I adored each & every thing & the link to her blog takes you to the photos she graciously posted of what she gifted to me.  Fabulous stuff!

The theme for January, which mails by January 2...is Thinking of You & the color is one of my all time favorites...blue!  It's going to be a challenge for me to make my card & tag & pull out some lovely blue goodies with my studio located all over the place except where it's supposed to be...but I'll get it all done & luckily my mail-to partner isn't allergic to cats!!!  I'm always careful, but it's going to be more challenging with 4 cats instead of 1.  We hope to release the kittens from my studio either this weekend or over the Christmas holiday...so updates are sure to follow!

My Etsy Shop Sale Continues...

These 3 little kittens certainly are happy to be inside where it's warm & there's good food...so much better than being outside where they were born.  I'm a bit cranky because all of my studio stuff is scattered around the house & in the basement so that they no longer have to live in a cage in the basement...they've taken over my studio.  It's not yet time to give them the run of the house & Sunny Cat isn't too sure she likes this whole idea...so my studio was the only room where we could keep them.  They're getting more playful & loving by the day...and each of them has his or her own personality.  I tried journaling in there last night & Fluffer was up on the table "helping" me by grabbing at my finger as I tried to write.  Their antics make up for any inconvenience & I'll get my studio back eventually.

Gracie, Peanut & Fluffer hope you'll stop by my Etsy shop to see if there's anything you might need for yourself or a gift.  The 20% off discount will continue through the end of December...just use coupon code KITTIES20 where it says "apply shop coupon code" at checkout.  It must be entered at checkout in order to get your discount.

The kittens & I thank you very much!
